勾玉（お守り）Comma shaped talisman.
古墳時代の子持ち勾玉を土器粘土で作りました。
本来は石で作られていますが、シンプルな物は
縄文時代から粘土でも出土しています。
何の形を模したのか謎の物です。

from Kofun period with earthen-clay.
Original was made from jewelry.

The simple form of Magatama has been
excavated since the Jomon priod.
